An Oscar-winning Matcha! Made only from leaves of the competition-winning teas for ceremonial Uji Matcha and selected for traditional tea schools in Japan. Cultivar: special blend of carefully selected high quality leaves from the Asahi, Saemidori and Gokou. These cultivars are especially suitable for shady growth and perfect for producing high quality Matcha with brilliant color. The leaves are harvested 100% by hand only in spring and expertly stone ground using traditional, artisanal methods. Preparation in both Koicha (thick) and Usucha (light) versions is recommended. When prepared well it presents a creamy, velvety and sweet foam on the surface with an intense vegetal taste but with an elegant and very light floral aftertaste. Preparation: about 2 grams in the bowl. Pour in the water and stir vigorously with the bamboo whisk until the jade foam is obtained. Packaging: 30 grams in a metal box.
