DESCRIPTION
Sourced from Nishio, in the heart of Aichi Prefecture, considered one of the two main regions in Japan where the best organic Matcha is grown. In fact, Nishio is one of the historical tea-growing regions, dating back to the 1200s. Leaves harvested in the spring followed by aging until August produce this high quality ceremonial Matcha. The flavor is sweet with mild herbaceous notes and freshly cut hay.
