DESCRIPTION
The Indochina Beauty designation was created in recent years to juxtapose it with Oriental Beauty, whose flavor and aroma it resembles. Originating from Lai Chau, this highly oxidized wulong (about 60 percent), however, is produced from the Jinxuan cultivar and also differs in production area.
The harvest, consisting of bud and first leaf, occurs in summer and early fall. Brilliant amber in color, it offers a sweet flavor free of astringency and a complex bouquet with fruity, floral, spicy and vanilla notes.
