DESCRIPTION
This grade is made from fine leaves from an early picking. The tea has a lot of ‘body’. It is a strong and full-bodied but not bitter tea with yet the soft, sweet honeyedness of a Xiao Zhong.
The Xiao Zhong is a delicious black tea. In taste, it has notes of raisins and cocoa with underlying fruit. The name comes from the variety of tea plant from which this tea is made. Jin Jun Mei and Lapsang Souchong are also made from the same shrub. This Xiao Zhong is unsmoked and comes from the Wuyi Mountains.
