DESCRIPTION
Harmutty is a tea plantation (since 1870) near the Brahmaputra River in Assam, India. Winters here are dry and cool, summers hot and humid. It produces a very flavorful potent tea. Delicious with milk & sugar or as a base for a chai.
Tea from Assam is well known. Assam is made from the large-leaved variety Camellia Assamica. This variety is known for its more robust flavor.
