DESCRIPTION

A beautiful fresh oolong tea, really a tea to drink every day. Slightly oxidized and floral in both aroma and taste.

This tea gets its name from the fact that the leaves of this cultivar can actually be made all year round because the plants grow very quickly. The cultivar was more or less accidentally discovered by a tea farmer who noticed that certain tea plants in his garden grew very fast while other plants in the vicinity had not even begun to form buds. This farmer then propagated the fast-growing plants and filled a field with them.

It turned out that the plants could be harvested as many as 7 or 8 times a year. The Four Seasons is harvested with a machine and is an ideal tea to drink daily and is a very popular tea in Taiwan. The smell and taste are floral and reminiscent of Tie Guan Yin but still has its own character.
