Also known as ‘Golden Lily’ and Milky oolong. At Tea from Sander, this Jin Xuan is the tea that naturally has a full and somewhat creamy flavor and the Milky oolong from China is an extra scented tea to further emphasize its creamy character.

The Jin Xuan cultivar from which this tea is made was discovered in 1981 at the "Tea Research and Extension Station," or TRES. Dr. Zhen Zhe Wu discovered the tea and is considered the "father of Taiwanese tea. The tea was important to the tea market in the 1980s, when Jin Xuan began to become very popular.
The cultivar is now widely used to make other teas as well.
