DESCRIPTION
A beautiful oolong from Fujian, short-roasted. This gives this tea a light floral taste.
In China perhaps the most famous oolong, along with the Da Hong Pao and often drunk with food.
This is a tea that many people do not know but after tasting it quickly becomes one of the favorites. Like a green tea, Tie Guan Yin is light and fresh in flavor, and due to the short oxidation and short roasting time, this oolong does not have the grassy and sometimes tart notes of a green tea.
For a detailed explanation of how to make Tie Guan Yin, see this blog article.
