One of the oldest tea plant varieties in the Wuyi Mountains. For those who like rock oolongs or want to immerse themselves in them, this tea is an unmissable experience.
Lao Cong Shui Xian 老枞水仙
On 3 May 2019, the weather was beautiful and sunny. We were on Wuyi Mountain at the time, picking the ripe leaves of the Lao Cong Shui Xian tea plant.
The tea bushes are about 80 years old and are magically beautiful, located next to a bamboo forest.
Balázs took a short phone video when we first spotted them near the creek bank.
The garden is surrounded by rocks, which provide the right minerals to enrich the soil. Well drained soil is a given and a clean environment. The tea is entirely hand-picked and processed.
It has been roasted over charcoal 3 times and has recently arrived in our tea room.
A distinctive and special rock tea.
