Ceramic tea tray, made by Ági Nagy-György for us. We always try to keep a supply in the tea shop, so Ági will probably keep making tea trays for us.

Practical because it is more durable than bamboo, as it will not get wet. Easy to keep clean, silky texture, really makes any tea making utensil look good on it, really. We've tried Chinese, Japanese and modern tools on it and it makes a perfect base for all of them and a handy water collection unit.

Weighs 1.2kg, of course there are variations as each type is unique, no two similar samples are the same. Their height is around 4.5 - 5 cm, their diameter is about 22 cm.
