The artistic cup used for making and drinking matcha tea, called a chawan.
Made in Hungary, based on a Japanese model, by ceramist Ágnes Nagy-György, 100% by hand.
We worked together to find the perfect shape and glaze.
It's clay ceramic, so it's less fragile, and you can put it in the dishwasher if you feel it's necessary, but we recommend cleaning it by hand without chemicals.
Diameter: approx. 12 cm, but slight variations may occur due to handmade.
Each cup is unique. The height is about 7-8 cm.
