Long Feng Xia oolong is a fantastic tea from the Shan Lin Xi region.
This tea grows at an altitude of about 1,800 meters in the Long Feng gorge of Shan Ling Xi Mountain. It is known for being the highest tea area in Shan Lin Xi. Literally translated, it is the area of the Dragon and the Phoenix. The area is surrounded by fog all day long, giving ideal conditions for producing this beautiful oolong and bamboo
This tea is produced from two leaves and a bud of the tea plants that are hand-picked and hand-processed with an oxidation level of about 35%. This oolong is very lightly roasted
Long Feng Xia oolong is rated as "ding ji" (the best world). It is in high demand, the supply is small.
This tea is wonderful to pour on more often and releases different flavors with each infusion. It looks best in a small teapot (Yixing) or a Gaiwan.
