400 China Ginseng Oolong

Ginseng.

The base of this tea is a roasted oolong. This was produced in the "normal" way and roasted longer.

Then a layer of licorice with ginseng powder was added around the balls when the tea was still wet from ball rolling. The flavor of this tea is nicely balanced, the flavor of the oolong matched nicely with the spiciness of the ginseng and the sweet, licorice-like taste.
