365 Vietnam Royal Lotus Green Tea

Tea in Motion
DESCRIPTION

Beautiful.... real Lotus tea!

Fairtrade and without any additives. These flowers grow in smelly muddy pools but from the thick strong roots bloom flowers of beautiful bright pink color!

Green Lotus tea is considered the symbol of Vietnamese tea culture. It stands for pure, beauty, loyal and honest. This makes it a symbol of Vietnamese tea culture.

In the past, this tea was only consumed in the noble and royal families. The production process is very complex and the Lotus flower quite rare. The lotus flower blooms for only a few months a year and it takes about a thousand flowers to flavor 1 kilo of green tea. So you can imagine why this tea is so precious!

In the early morning, the fresh, wet flowers (due to dew) are picked. The wild green tea is blended for a month with the fragrant stamens of the flower, to absorb all the lotus aroma.

The scarcity of this tea is not only what makes this tea the symbol of Vietnam, but that is particularly the enchanting pure warm, camphor-like fragrance that immediately takes you on a soothing journey.

This is what the Vietnamese themselves say about the tea: "A perfume that purifies our soul, awakens our spirit, beautifies our heart and teaches us how to live and survive."
