DESCRIPTION
Mao Feng is the name of picking the bud with 2 leaves of the same length.
The literal translation for Mao Feng is fur (like fur of an animal, due to the hairs on the leaves). Monks from the area around scenic and mystical Huangshan (Yellow Mountains) have been producing this tea since the 14th century (mid-Ming Dynasty). The Qingmin Festival is a Chinese holiday that falls on April 4 or 5. On this day, the graves of ancestors are visited and maintained. In China, this is an official day off.
