Matcha Unkaku - Crane in the Clouds

Marukyu-Koyamaen-matcha-Unkaku-koicha-powdered-green-tea-green-japanese

Well, what can we say... Matcha Unkaku by Marukyu-Koyamaen is a delight, definitely among our favorite teas. We use it as a daily tea but also on special occasions to remember. In our refrigerator it is now always present. A 100 g can we try to make it last for a month or so.

It is a very thick tea, surprisingly sweet and at the same time refreshing. What we love about it is precisely that it is sweet despite its density, which with Matcha teas from other regions and sometimes from other producers, is almost always accompanied by decidedly bitter notes that are not exactly pleasant.

We think that the value for money of Matcha Unkaku is the best among Marukyu-Koyamaen's high-end Matcha. All the more reason not to pass it up!
