Origin: Argentina
Manufacturer: Amanda
Features: High quality yerba mate with a sweet, smooth and lingering flavor. Gluten-free product!
Method of preparation:fill the calabaza/mate 3/4 full, cap it with the palm of your hand, then shake it while holding it firmly. Once this is done, the Yerba will tilt slightly, at which point you need to pour a little lukewarm water into the little "unevenness" that has been created, so as to moisten it slightly and let it sit for a couple of minutes. Then you can start pouring, still in the previous wet spot, minimally mineralized water at 70/80 °C, being careful not to wet all the Yerba Mate present in the mate. After that, all that's left is to introduce the bombilla and start enjoying your Mate.

The company's history
Juan Szychowski was 11 years old when he arrived in Argentina from Europe in 1900. One of many emigrants from the Old Continent to the New World. The new settlers arrived with high hopes and settled in the province of Misiónes and began farming.
In 1914, due to the backwardness of the countryside and extremely difficult conditions, they decided to abandon the land and move to Buenos Aires for a short time in search of work to scrape together some money to return to their home country. However, with the arrival of World War I, the new settlers were forced to stay. It was then that Szychowski turned to farming. At the same time, however, he realized how there was no potential in the production area for production on an industrial scale. Nevertheless, he set to work with the goal of creating something great and valuable. It is truly a testament to incredible tenacity and determination how Szychowski built his home and workplace from scratch in the middle of nowhere.
In 1917 he obtained iron from friends and used it to build a lathe. In 1919 he completed the design and production
worked on building a dam on the Chimiray River to obtain the electricity needed to run the machines he had built.
Then followed the years of cultivation and plantation establishment until 1927, when he brought his first productive plantation into production at the site of Amanda's present location.
It was thus that, thanks to the incredible work of a Polish immigrant, the world's first industrial Yerba Mate processing plant was born in La Cachuera, Argentina. It is in these very places that since as far back as 1936 the famous Yerba Mate Amanda has been produced and packaged, now part of a food giant that produces rice, tea and Mate.
