The Ceremonial Matcha differs from Matcha for culinary use in its suitability for the preparation of Usucha (more liquid and lighter) and Koicha (thicker and creamier). Matcha intended for this use must be elegant, delicate, and must have nuances that make the consumption of Matcha an 'unforgettable experience despite its considerable concentration.
So, what to expect from a ceremonial Matcha?
A full, silky flavor that fades and vanishes very slowly. A pleasant astringency, balanced perfectly by a natural, pronounced sweetness. Vibrant, electric, evergreen color. Prepared as Usucha or Koicha its texture and surface foam are elegant and irresistible. You can read our article to learn more about the different categories of Matcha.
The Matcha is rich in amino acids, catechins, EGCg, fiber, potassium, magnesium, Vitamins A, B1, B2, C, E , L-Theanine and caffeine.
