Matcha Shohaku - Pine and Oak

Pack of 40 gr

Matcha Shohaku is a tea prepared by Marukyu-Koyamaen according to the tastes of the 15th Grand Master of Urasenke, Hounsai Daisosho. An official tea of the Urasenke ceremony of excellent quality. It was given the name Oak and Pine, referring to the Grand Master, with these two trees symbolizing wisdom, old age, and long and enduring life.

The tea tastes more than a little mysterious. It has a thick, full-bodied base with a sweet and carefully measured aftertaste. In the aftertaste there is an energizing freshness and at the same time a soothing smoothness. It already has the creaminess of the higher-grade teas.
