DESCRIPTION
Organically grown sencha shaded for two weeks before harvest in the traditional way of covering the bushes from the Yame area. The Meiryoku cultivar is richer in amino acids and caffeine, while the catechin content is lower, making it ideal for shading.
The result is a tea with a sweet, mellow character. The aroma of the infused leaves is reminiscent of a coniferous forest. The taste is delicate, delicious, very balanced with a long sweetish aftertaste.
