DESCRIPTION
Exclusive Sencha from the organically grown Harumidori cultivar from a young garden in the Kawane area of Shizuoka Prefecture. This is a relatively new cultivar, representing less than 1% of Japanese production. The Harumidori cultivar was developed by crossbreeding the Kanayamidori and Yabukita cultivars.
The tea leaf is dark green, glossy and shaped into nice long needles. There are nice floral notes in the scent of the leaves. The rinsed leaf has a wonderful aroma of floral honey and caramel. The infusion is clear, light green. The taste is delicious, round and harmonious.
This tea is only available in limited quantity. In our humble opinion, it is one of the best Sencha teas in our range this year.
