DESCRIPTION
Exclusive Sencha from the organically grown Tsuyuhikari cultivar from the Kawane region of Shizuoka Prefecture. This is a rarity as this cultivar represents less than 1% of Japanese production.
The leaf is dark green, glossy and shaped into nice long needles. The infusion is clear, light green with floral notes in the scent of the leaves. The taste is delicious and balanced. The aftertaste is sweet, juicy with a medium duration.
In our opinion, this is the best sencha in our 2022 season offering from the Shizuoka area. The tea is only available in limited quantity.
