DESCRIZIONE
This Liu Bao has matured for 7 years
This Liu Bao is a cooked post fermented tea, which has been deliberately experimented with to mature it in tea chests made of tropical wood. Normally, tea is kept in bamboo boxes. The result is therefore quite exciting, the taste is deep, woody and slightly smoky.
Liu Bao means "6 forts" and that could refer to ancient fortifications in the Guangxi region where this tea is grown. There used to be 6 forts there.
The difference between Pu Er and Liu Bao is the leaf variety and the longer, wetter production process of Liu Bao
