DESCRIPTION
Organic herbal tea made from sprigs of Aspalathus Linearis, a shrub widespread in South Africa. It was initially consumed by local people, eventually becoming a national beverage for South Africa.
In this herbal tea, Aspalathus Linearis sprigs are embellished with bits of candied ginger and lemon.
Naturally devoid of caffeine, it is prized for its antioxidant anti-inflammatory properties.
It is erroneously called red tea, due to the recognizable color of its liquor. However, since it is not composed of Camellia Sinensis leaves, Rooibos cannot be considered tea.
The taste is soft, pleasant, and sweet, with hints of wood. Soft, pleasant, sweet, woody notes.
