Many people accompany their slimming regimen with slimming products. However, some of them can have side effects. Add to this the feeling of fatigue experienced during dieting, and many could quickly become discouraged. Fortunately, there are infusions which (in addition to being safe) are invigorating. Such is the case with organic maté slimming infusion.
What is organic slimming infusion?
This infusion is a real tonic concentrate. No wonder, since it's all about good old maté, much in demand in South America when it comes to weight loss. Of course, maté isn't the only ingredient in this very "travel-friendly" blend. For example, we should note the presence of green tea from China Sencha and South African honeybush. In addition to these plants, you need to add slimming leaves such as lemongrass, mint and nettle.
How to get the perfect infusion
For your preparation, the choice is yours as to the method. You can make it as you would a conventional tea, adding around 15 g of your mate to 1 L of water, for a infusion time of ten minutes. You can also use the traditional method if you have a suitable calabash and bombilla. All you'll need to do is:
- pour the maté into ¾ of the calabash and cover it with your palm to tip it over to bring up the fine herbs;
- insert your bombilla into one side of the calabash after tilting it, then add boiling water;
- and leave to infuse/cool a little before drinking.
You can add more water when you run out.
What are the benefits of such a beverage?
For the record, this infusion is not recommended for younger children due to the caffeine contained in the maté. Moreover, the powerful taste will quickly dissuade many. However, it's the innumerable virtues offered by the ingredients in this composition that should be emphasized. While it is primarily used for weight loss, this drink also promotes brain activity in general, relieving headaches in the process.
To this should be added the vitamin C, magnesium, calcium and iron contributions of mate. The other ingredients have energizing, pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory properties.
Very widely consumed in South America, mate is said to be a very good stimulant, rich in vitamin C, magnesium, calcium and iron. It can also be consumed as part of a diet, as it has the characteristic of suppressing the appetite.
