DESCRIPTION
Tulsi is a plant also known as sacred or holy basil, precisely because of its countless beneficial properties for our bodies. It grows wild in the Himalayan mountains at an altitude of over two thousand meters. It is widely used in India in Ayurvedic medicine, as an adaptogen and antioxidant, to counter psycho-physical stress, to improve the activity of brain cells (concentration and memory, calm, relaxation), a remedy also for coughs and the respiratory system, an excellent digestive and to eliminate nausea.
Usage: for optimal consumption just steep a tablespoon of leaves in hot water, let it sit for at least 5-6 minutes and drink a cup as needed. Honey can be used to sweeten the infusion.
