Nilgiri Frost grows at an elevation of over 1800 m on the Nilgiri Mountains, a mountain range in southeastern India. Here the growing conditions are excellent and the soil very fertile, allowing the growth of teas of the highest quality. Thanks to the tropical climate, harvests in this region occur throughout the year, but it is in winter that they release their best aromas. In particular, this tea is produced on a small plantation in the Coonoor area, where special attention is paid to crop sustainability and the welfare of the workers.
