Rebalance your chakras with this delicious & enticing golden brew. Our Turmeric & Ginger Time Out Tea produces a golden infusion and has a warming and exotic taste with a subtle spice aroma.
We have combined aromatic turmeric and ginger for a warming tea, with the addition of coconut and black pepper to bring out the best in turmeric.
You will notice some speckles of oil sat on top of the tea. “Don’t panic it’s a good thing!” It is the natural oil from both the turmeric and coconut.
Each bag is filled with quality un-ground ingredients, making for a satisfying full flavoured brew each and every time.
100% plastic free tea bags and inner clear bag, both 100% compostable and biodegradable. Outer box 100% recyclable cardboard printed with vegetable ink.
Ingredients: Turmeric 47%, Coconut 35%, Ginger 12%, Black Pepper 6%
20 x 100% plastic free tea bags (40g)
How to brew the perfect cuppa:
To enjoy this tea at its best, always use freshly drawn and boiled water. (to help the planet, only boil the amount of water you need to save water and energy)
Take a moment to warm the pot or mug.
Use 1 tea bag per person and pour the freshly boiled water (100°C) over the tea bag.
Steep for 5-10 minutes, allowing the ingredients to release their full flavours.
Once the tea has brewed to your liking, add milk/sweeten or go natural. You decide, it’s your cuppa!
Take care, wet turmeric tea bags cause stains on worktops, clothes, etc.
Take time out and enjoy!
Refreshing iced tea:
Use 1 tea bag per person, 125ml of freshly boiled water and brew for 10 minutes.
Sweeten to your liking and top up with 125ml of cold water. Serve over ice with slices of lemon.
As the planet means so much to us, in 2018 we took the leap to be one of Britain’s first 100% plastic free tea companies.
Not only where our tea bags made from corn starch (and still are), so no nasty plastics in your cup, we also started packing our tea bags in a film made from fast growing eucalyptus tree cellulose, so no nasty plastic in landfill neither. Then not stopping there, we went through a change of packaging, utilising vegetable inks print on our tea boxes, closing the whole circle making it all kind to the planet!!
