Eastern-inspired design
Lin's Ceramics Studio collaborated with Dutch design team PeLiDesign to develop new tea sets through the fusion of Western lifestyle and Eastern aesthetics.
The Western designer was inspired by the romantic writings of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's West-östlicher Divan. He imagined himself as a traveling artist following in the footsteps of the masters, hoping to discover magnificent new realms through Eastern inspiration. The Divan tea service is an innovative product driven by the wave of globalization. It is also an effort by Lin's Ceramics Studio in promoting the tea arts trend in the West and a milestone to embark on a new journey on the Silk Road.
This teapot responds to the Western custom of brewing tea in a large teapot and blends with the elegant Chinese culture of enjoying tea in small teacups.Sophisticated European lines emanate from a rich, rounded Oriental aesthetic.
Choose the perfect material for each tea
Porcelain, a quick conductor of heat, prevents the delicate tea leaves from overcooking. It is best suited for infusing slightly fermented or unfermented teas, such as green tea, Lungjing, Pouchong and Taiwan High Mountain Tea.
