Each serving of the Bio Sheng (Raw) Puer Organic Tea Wu Liang Origin is 4g, the perfect amount for a single infusion. The darker leaves pressed into this small brick are brightened by the buds covered in golden fluff. The tea is sweet, with a delicate aroma that immediately brings to mind a walk through a fir forest. This organic tea comes from Zhengwan village, in the famous Puer Autonomous Province.
Tasting - Sight and Smell
The small squares of organic puer tea sheng Wu Liang Origin consist of compressed leaves, with variegated colors ranging from dark green, forest green and army green to light brown and khaki, with a high presence of golden buds. Once infused, the leaves give off aromas of pear nectar, incense, resin, green wood and a very slight hint of leather. In the cup, the liquor is a deep golden yellow.
Tasting Notes
GONG FU CHA
The first infusion of organic puer tea sheng Wu Liang Origin gives a liquor that is delicate yet with an already well-defined organoleptic profile: notes of beeswax and unripe pear, then resin and finally a woody hint of bark. With the second infusion the fruitiness of the pear becomes more intense, while a vaguely herbaceous vegetal note and a very slight astringency appear. Balsamic notes of pine needles are perceived, giving the tea a very pleasant freshness, followed by a hint of incense. With the third and subsequent infusions we again find notes of bark wood in the opening, over a fruity base of pear that remains present, and a long balsamic and fresh persistence that recalls the scents of a coniferous forest.
TO THE WEST
Organic puer sheng tea Wu Liang Origin has a sweet taste of pear and notes of pine resin in the opening, which is followed by fresh vegetal hints of artichoke. Secondly, a balsamic note of eucalyptus and a hint of incense reach the palate, along with a spicy hint of cardamom. On the finish, there is an unexpected floral note, while the persistence remains fresh and sweetly fruity. The body is silky and smooth, with just a slight astringency. Sniffing the bottom cup, you will be able to pick up the scent of incense and beeswax.

Preparation
We highly recommend infusing tis puer organic sheng Wu Liang Origin in the traditional Chinese method (gong fu cha) to best enjoy these leaves. Following this preparation, one square can be put into a gaiwan of about 100 ml to make several infusions with different tastes. After a short preliminary rinse at 100°C to start separating the leaves well from their compressed form, one can proceed with an initial infusion of 10 seconds, and after that, keeping the water at the same temperature, one can proceed by increasing the time each time by 5 seconds from the previous infusion (10 - 15 - 20...).
This tea has a longevity of about 7 infusions.
For a classic preparation according to the Western style we recommend a square in a 200 ml cup with water at 100°C for an infusion time of two minutes. However, it would be preferable to do a prior rinse of about 15 seconds to make the most of the flavors of the leaves.
The tea can be filtered for ease when tasting and also the infusion times given above here are meant to be purely indicative so you can also adjust according to your personal taste.
It is recommended to store in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight.
