Clay Purion

Clay Purion is a material created in Taiwan by skilled artisans. Rich in minerals, such as quartz, fired by oxidation reduction at high temperature. It has a granular structure similar to stone, and tea infused in this type of material results smooth and tastes exceptionally sweet and soft.

The temperature used to fire the clay is higher than that used for ceramics and porcelain. This particular process gives Purion its simple, unmistakable gravelly and porous appearance.
