Ru porcelain, also called Ju Ware, from the famous Song dynasty, has a long history of civilization behind it. The subtle variations show the accessory as it was fresh out of the kiln. What we see are like the cracks in an old imperfect statuary masterpiece, yet perfect for that very reason.
Ru porcelain possesses a deep resonance, a depth of color resulting from the oil-like glossy finish. These qualities together give Ju accessories a multi-colored, multi-layered appearance. Ru porcelainis highly heat conductive, so it is suitable for unfermented and lightly fermented teas, such as green teas and high mountain teas.
