TheOolong Tea and Osmanthus Flowers is a fragrant combination of low-oxidation oolong tea and fragrant osmanthus flowers. The tea leaves and flowers are blended before being divided into teabags, so the tea/flower ratio is the same in each teabag.
The sweet aroma of dehydrated flowers and apricots slowly fades into slightly herbaceous notes, with a smooth finish. This tea comes from Mount Dahei, located in the famous Pu'er province of Yunnan.
Each packet contains 15 4-gram bags, the perfect amount for your infusions.
Tasting - Sight and Smell
Oolong tea and osmanthus flowers comes in individual silk pyramid sachets, containing small, low-oxidation oolong tea leaves, forest green in color and balled up in shape, and osmanthus flowers, with bright yellow and orange petals. Once infused, the flowers and leaves give off floral and fruity aromas of dehydrated apricot, with a fresh, vegetal finish. The liqueur is golden yellow with straw hues, very clear and bright.
Tasting notes
Oolong and osmanthus flower tea has a sweet, floral opening, with hints of honey and fruity notes reminiscent of apricot compote and ripe yellow peaches. There are also hints of almost buttery, vanilla and custard, with a slightly vegetal, umami finish of young grass and chlorophyll. The persistence is long and sweet, with notes of apricot jam and a fresh sensation that lingers on the palate. Neither bitter nor astringent, this is a creamy and velvety-bodied tea to be drunk at all times of the day.

Infusion method
We recommend infusing Oolong and Osmanthus Flower tea in a 200-250 ml capacity cup. With 4 grams of leaves, you can make multiple infusions that are useful to best taste all the flavors of the tea.
You can proceed with an initial infusion of 3 minutes with water at 85°C and reuse the same leaves to make subsequent infusions, keeping the water at the same temperature, and increasing the previous infusion time by about 20-30 seconds.
This tea allows about 2-3 infusions.
The infusion timings we suggest can, however, be slightly modified to your liking to achieve a more or less intense taste.
We recommend storing it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Benefits of Oolong Tea
The main benefits that can be derived from oolong teas derive from the significant content of mineral salts and antioxidant phenols in the leaves.
Some studies, in fact, report that daily intake of oolong tea can affect bone health by improving the concentration of minerals in this tissue and promote a decrease in blood sugar due to the stimulating effect of phenols on insulin.
Oolong teas also generally possess a low concentration of caffeine. This characteristic makes them suitable to be consumed at any time of the day, even by people who are more sensitive to this exciting substance.
