DESCRIPTION

The Matcha Meiko Green Tea Matchæologist ceremonial grade produces an emerald green infusion with a robust body, sweet and savory hints, and a bouquet of floral notes and delicate tannins.

Iridescent green in color, Meiko (an epithet referring to the beautiful bud of a flowering plant) is artfully blended to create a well-defined, flavorful brew with sweet, smooth notes, followed by subtle hints of salted caramel and with floral tannin notes rounding out the finish.

This Matcha is characterized by its unique Ooika fragrance, a captivating and refreshing aroma found only in shade-grown green tea. Perfect for brewing on its own or savored as part of a plethora of premium health elixirs.

Location of origin

Kagoshima, Japan.

Ingredients: green tea powder.

Preparation

Put 1/2 teaspoon (about 2 scoops of bamboo) matcha tea (about 1g) in the bowl, then pour 15 ml of 70º C water. Mix the mixture thoroughly with the bamboo whisk until a smooth paste is obtained. Add 70 ml of water at 70º C and stir until the powder has completely dissolved.
After sipping, roll the liquid around the palate to appreciate the full anatomy of the tea taste.

Storage: store in a cool, dry place away from moisture, sunlight and odors, store in the refrigerator after opening for maximum flavor and potency.
