Our Experimental Organic Oolong Tea is a rarity from the mountains of Nepal. Harvested in the spring of 2023, this tea undergoes a unique fermentation process that makes it an exceptional taste experience. After an 8-day fermentation period in an environment with limited access to oxygen, the leaves are rolled and tightened in an airtight fermentation vessel, thus preserving their freshness and distinctive aroma.

Preparation
We strongly recommend infusing this tea following the traditional Chinese method (gong fu cha) to fully appreciate the complexity of its flavors. Use 5 grams of leaves (about 4 teaspoons) in a gaiwan of about 100 ml to obtain multiple infusions with different flavors. After briefly rinsing the leaves in 90-95°C water, proceed with the first 5-second infusion, increasing the infusion time by 10 seconds with each subsequent infusion. This tea can produce up to 7 infusions.
For a more traditional preparation according to the Western style, we recommend using 3 grams of leaves (about 2 teaspoons) in a 150-mL cup with water at 90-95°C and an infusion time of one and a half minutes. The tea can be filtered for convenience during tasting. Infusion times are approximate and can be adjusted according to personal preference.
Storage
We recommend storing the tea in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, to preserve its freshness and quality.
