Gunpowder Green is so called as the dry tea leaves are rolled into tight balls, so consequently resemble gunpowder. According to legend the name derives from the time a British merchant ship was tricked into purchasing this tea instead of gunpowder. With a fresh rounded taste evoking paddy fields, Gunpowder tea is a very good remedy for stomach complaints.
