Occupying a rare position between white and green tea, White Monkey features white downy leaves interspersed amongst green. The result is an exquisite infusion with all the natural freshness of white tea and the floral depths of green. Apparently the name originates from a time when the tea, cultivated on cliffs and amongst rocks, was harvested by monkeys specially trained for the job. Sometimes it is also called Monkey Claw, due to the distinctive curve of its downy leaves.
