Gaoshan is a famous tea village in Yiwu, Yunnan. This cake is 100% Autumn 'Gaoshan' Gu Shu material (trees over 100 years old). A pungent orchid aroma from the wet leaves. From the first infusion the tea is sweet, hints of sweet hay / light mineral notes and a smooth mouthfeel. The sweetness builds through the infusions which develop into a strong returning sweetness and aftertaste. A relaxing Chi can be noticed from infusion 2 onward. A forward tea in flavour /sweetness and chi with a soft mouthfeel. This Gu Shu can easily carry for at least 20 infusions.
