Grown on Rangdoo Estate in Darjeeling but known globally as Okayti, the name originates from the London Tea traders who used to call this the only "OK Tea" suitable to be bought from Darjeeling.
The winter dormancy of Darjeeling tea bushes allows for the unmistakable and sought after flavours of famed Darjeeling 1st Flush. No one makes better 1st flush Darjeeling tea than Okayti.
Hand picked in early spring it has a light pale colour that is typical of the first flush Darjeeling tea. It has a light floral flavour of hay and the unforgettable muscatel flavour of Darjeeling.
Okayti is best enjoyed without milk and makes a perfect Afternoon type tea.
