How to use a chashaku
Dip the curved piece completely under the matcha powder and lift it up. Anything that falls off the straight edges is too much and you don't need it. One measuring spoon is roughly comparable to a teaspoon, good for about 100 ml. This does depend on the quality of the matcha and your own preference for strength.
