This handy tea strainer is made of stainless steel and can be used when brewing loose tea. The holes in the strainer are so small that no tea leaves can get through. On both sides there is a handle so it can be easily removed from your tea glass. The tip that comes with it can be used to present your tea in advance and when the tea is made you let it drain on the tip.
The tea strainers are dishwasher safe, this is not necessary after each use. You remove the tea leaves first and then the strainer is already almost clean. To enjoy the strainer longer, we recommend not cleaning the strainer in the dishwasher after every use.
Removing tea tarnish
When you use the strainer intensively, tarnish develops. You can make the strainers shine again by putting them in warm water with a steradent tablet. Let it soak for a few hours and then rinse well or put them in the dishwasher.
