We are happy to present our first Jin Xuan (Milky) Oolong! Jin Xuan cultivar is best known for lending the tea a bright floral note to the freshness of a high mountain oolong, however it has also earned its name as “Milky Oolong” for the rich texture and creamy taste. Yet, 'tis the skill of the tea master who bakes and oxidizes the leaves that bring this tea's potential to the front. The gentle yet sensitive baking process brings out the creamy texture of this tea even further, adding dynamic to its profile and bringing out some egg tart or pistachio flavors hidden within the leaf. This tea is made by the younger tea masters and combines the experience of their tea-maker ancestors with the fresh vision of how high-quality Taiwanese tea should be made.
