Harvest 04/2023
A tea rarity from the 'gyokuro guru' himself, Master Sakamoto. Chuetsu heaven.
Handpicking is used only exceptionally and only on the highest grades of Gyokuro.
Strong umami, nuttiness and complex roundness. All the delicious flavours of the previous varieties are enriched here with a 'little something' extra... And that something is flavour heaven.
The tea equivalent of a bottle of exclusive wine that you will open for a special occasion and remember fondly for a long time.
Cultivar: Haruto
Dif you prefer complex multi-layered round flavors then I recommend the VINTAGE variant which is more mature. If freshness and vibrancy is your preference, pay attention to the current vintage.
