A wonderful and potent DA Hong Pao aroma off the rinse. Sweet notes off the leaf after 1st steep. Exceptionally smooth and viscous. A nice roast, not over done, no off notes. Nice leathery roasted flavour, maybe a touch floral. True Rock Tea or ‘Yancha’ carries a very hefty price tag generally, this tea however is available to you at very reasonable prices, drink to that 🍵!
