419 Taiwan Lishan Fushoushan

Tea in Motion

Heaven pool oolong, rare tea from the the tea farm between Mount Hehuan and Mount Snow at an altitude between 1800 and 2580 meters..

It is the second highest mountain in the Lishan mountains and all year round there is water on the mountain, hence its name heaven pool.

Fushoushan oolong is highly regarded in Taiwan because it is one of the few controlled trademarks in the world of Taiwan tea. Today, the tea produced at the government teafarm is sold in sealed cans with a number. This tea comes from the garden next to this government tea farm but unmistakably carries the characteristic fresh floral aromas of Lishan oolong with a rich, full body.

The leaves are carefully hand-rolled into small pale green balls. If you want a light, honey-sweet tea, brew it short; if you like a more full-bodied, potent tea with more fruit and tropical flavors, brew it longer

Locals pick the tea after which it is processed into a rare, precious product with a full-bodied, sweet and floral fragrance. This tea is picked 2x a year, in spring and fall.
