90’s Loose Te Ji Grade ‘Menghai’ Area Ripe Puerh

The aroma from the rinse shows this is a very cleanly stored tea with no pushy wet notes. Deep and rich aroma. The aged taste is apparent and not overwhelming. Young Te Ji, will be quite hard hitting, maybe harsh bright ripe notes. This aged Te Ji is more relaxed and balanced, bordering on elegant! Think of Metallica vs Dire Straights. The mouthfeel is soothing and you may notice sparks of sweetness in the cheeks.
