2023 Spring 'Song Zhong' Dan Cong Oolong

The ‘Song Zhong’ varietal was originally crossbred from Shui Xian cultivars that dates back to the Song Dynasty. This particularly flavoursome tea isn’t to be missed!

Deep zingy roast off the rinse. The rinse aroma transmutes perfectly into the flavour of this tea. Zingy orchid/ passion fruit coupled with deep roast notes and an underlying sweetness. The strong aftertaste carries. Bitterness is here,  constrained when brewing lightly and will offer a satisfying bite when pushed.
