A plant everyone knows for good reason. Nettles are ancient plants and to me are plants that could have become animals but choose to stay rooted in the earth. Like us they have male and female parts on separate plants and contain neurotransmitters that our brains rely on as well.
Like insects they have a sting – using formic acid just like the ants.
They are a great source of chlorophyll and when you look at this natural wonder chemical you find it is almost exactly like the haemoglobin in our blood. A huge source of minerals it is traditionally used to help build blood and as a natural source of iron and essential minerals. Used traditionally for hay fever it should be drunk before the season starts and then throughout.
