Honey golden color, known as Champagne among teas.
Extended description:This tea is also known as the Champagne among teas in Sri Lanka. This Nuwara Eliya grows on the highest misty slopes of Sri Lanka. The tea has a unique golden color. Lovers Leap is named after the tragic legend of two lovers who jumped from the picturesque waterfall in the tea garden. The tea is picked from the tea bushes that grow almost below the Lovers Leap waterfall.
Legend: A Kandyan prince fell in love with a lower-caste girl. The king hounded the infatuated couple because, in his opinion, they would have no future. The long-lost couple thought otherwise and, not wanting to be separated, they decided to jump from the waterfall together, thus deciding their eternal love.
You won't taste this tragedy in the tea, but you will enjoy a light, delicate flavor.
