Tea in Motion
DESCRIPTION

Beautifully rolled 'feathers'

Other names for this tea include Golden Yunnan, Yunnan Golden Curls or golden snail. The leaves of this Bi Luo are carefully rolled into a spiral shape. This is the only black tea presented in this way. We do know the rolling process from green teas.

This tea is also called Golden Yunnan for its beautiful golden-colored tips. The leaves are rolled like beautiful feathers, which refers to the name Bi Luo, delicate feathers.

The taste is creamy and smooth, with nutty and vanilla notes. Remarkably, green and post fermented tea has been produced in Yunnan for centuries, but the production of black tea did not take off until 1939.
